Rusty Knife Records & MS Records are pleased to offer you a series of LP format co-rods. The goal of these co-rods is to invite bands from the French scene to re-record 3-4 already known songs from their repertoire, either for different versions because the band's line-up has changed, or because over the years the band has changed its way of performing them, or because the band is taking advantage of this recording to make new versions, or...!
In short, everything is allowed except to make one or more new songs!
Each volume is pressed in 300 copies.
These records are called "Live in studio on the slopes", the cover is generic and only the name of the band differentiates the fronts of the different volumes.
The first broadcast of these songs will be on radio Canut in Lyon and will then be released as maxi 45 rpm on 12'' vinyl.
This series is inspired by the Peel sessions, where many bands would come to John Peel's radio studios to record
songs, these tracks were played on the radio. A few years later these recordings were released on records. People then rediscovered the songs they had already heard before either on albums or singles.
